Let’s be blunt.

Trump is no longer campaigning.

He’s in power.

Sworn in January 20th, 2025. Surrounded by loyalists. Surrounded by sycophants. Surrounded by people who’ve waited years to turn their conspiracy fantasies into state policy.

The DOJ? Gutted.
The DHS? Remodeled.
The FBI? Leashed.
The Supreme Court? Licking its chops.

So yes…Trump now has the muscle. The machinery. The alphabet agencies on a leash.

But the idea of arresting Obama?

Still a legal fantasy.

There’s no credible case.

No actual indictment.

No standing charges.

No grand jury. No evidence. No law that could stretch far enough…even with his lapdog judges…to make it stick.

Even with all the gears grinding…the wheels fall off the moment they hit a courtroom that isn’t presided over by a Proud Boy in a robe.

But Trump doesn’t need to win the case.

He just needs to air it.

Because this isn’t about legality.

It’s about theater.

It’s about tapping into the base’s bloodlust and saying:

“See? I’m the only one brave enough to go after him.”

It’s vengeance cosplay…dressed up like justice.

But the wardrobe isn’t the story.

The story is what happens when the crowd starts clapping anyway.

What It Took to Get Us Here—and What Comes Next

Trump already did the unthinkable.

He won.

He cleared the courts. He filled the DOJ. He replaced top brass. He greenlit ICE with new marching orders. He cut every institutional brake line that once said: “You can’t go that far.”

And now?

Now the runway’s clear.

So what would it take for him to actually arrest Barack Obama?
